The Jones surname in this family tree traces through the Ruby Irene Ford line of Chuck's ancestors. Jones is one of the most common surnames of English and Welsh origin, derived from the given name John (Hebrew: Yohanan, meaning 'God is gracious'). The family arrived in America prior to 1765. Are you a direct male descendant of Benjamin Jones carrying the Jones surname? Paul Neely, another descendant who was born in this house, helped cover the cost of relocating it from where it was built (across from the existing Orchard Hill Church on Brandt School Rd) to where it is today in Blueberry Hill Park.
